Made in America: Trump’s White House Orders 250 Brand-New Cadillac Escalade Luxury SUVs
Made in America: President Trump’s White House orders 250 brand-new Cadillac Escalade luxury SUVs.
With prices starting at more than $90k each, heavy-duty armoring package could push the flagship SUV’s final price beyond $300k.

Last month, GM Chair and CEO Mary Barra and President Mark Reuss welcomed Donald J. Trump to GM’s Milford Proving Ground, making him the first sitting U.S. president to visit the automaker’s flagship vehicle testing facility in southeastern Michigan.
During an address at GM’s Milford Proving Ground, President Trump revealed that the White House has ordered 250 brand-new Cadillac Escalades. With prices starting at more than $90,000 each, the SUVs could cost significantly more once customized with specialized security and protection features.

“We ordered 250 Escalades. That’s how we look sharp in those cavalcades, you know,” Trump said during his hour-long address at a General Motors facility in Michigan.
“We look sharp in those Escalades. Our guys are very spoiled. They’re very spoiled. They like the Escalade. So do I,” he added.
Cadillac Escalade prices start at $91,100 for the standard gas-powered model and rise to $182,000 for the high-performance Escalade-V. While Trump did not reveal which Escalade variant was ordered by the White House, adding a heavy-duty armoring package could push the flagship SUV’s final price beyond $300,000.
During his visit on July 27, 2026,, President Trump to watched head-to-head drag races between some of GM’s most iconic performance vehicles, including a 1,250-hp Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X and a GMC HUMMER EV pickup truck.
After the races, Trump toured GM’s latest lineup, taking a close look at the Cadillac Escalade IQ and GMC HUMMER EV SUV before climbing into the rear seat of the ultra-luxury Cadillac CELESTIQ to experience its high-end interior.
