GMC Celebrates 25 Years Of Hummer Nameplate With Limited-run Hummer EV ICON | 25

GMC is marking the 25th anniversary of the iconic Hummer nameplate with a special, limited-edition version of its battery-powered pickup and SUV models, called the 2027 GMC Hummer EV ICON | 25.

Available on 2X and 3X trims of the all-electric Hummer Pickup and SUV, the limited-production Hummer EV ICON | 25 draws inspiration from the original Hummer H2 through a new exterior finish called the “ICON”.

The reinterpreted HUMMER H2’s recognizable yellow paint is paired with a black front approach shield and a Jet Black interior that boasts a serialized instrument panel badging and a unique drive-mode graphics—a nod to HUMMER heritage models.

The Hummer EV ICON | 25 made its debut on Wednesday, July 15 during the 2026 ESPYS in New York City, where the automaker returns as the Official Vehicle Sponsor of the annual ceremony honoring figures from sports and entertainment.

“Twenty-five years ago, HUMMER first captured attention and established itself as an immediate icon. Today, HUMMER remains instantly recognizable as an all-electric supertruck that continues to turn heads,” said Michael MacPhee, Global Vice President, Buick and GMC.

Aside from the anniversary package, all 2027 GMC HUMMER EV models introduce five new available exterior color options, including ICON, Dark Ridge, Azurite Blue, Dark Ember, and Deep Void Matte as well as two new 22-inch wheel options.

Additionally, the model year gets an available bidirectional vehicle-to-home charging, allowing a V2H-capable HUMMER EV to help provide power to a properly equipped home1 during an outage
