Ram’s New “Muscle Trucks” Lineup Includes 777-hp 1500 Rumble Bee SRT Dubbed The Fastest Production Truck

Ram’s new “muscle trucks” lineup includes 777-hp 1500 Rumble Bee SRT dubbed the fastest production truck ever. 

Stellantis-owned heavy-duty and commercial truck maker, Ram, has launched the newest lineup of “muscle trucks”, including the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT that it claimed to be “The Fastest Production Truck Ever”.

The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup is offered in four variants : entry-level Rumble Bee with 395-hp 5.7-liter HEMI V-8, Rumble Bee 392 with 470-hp 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 and the Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack with performance upgrades, also powered with 470-hp 6.4-liter HEMI V-8.

The range-topping model is the Ram Rumble Bee SRT, powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged ‘Hellcat’ HEMI V-8 engine with a mind-blowing 777 horsepower and 680 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,800 rpm.

It allows the Rumble Bee SRT to reach 60 mph from rest in 3.4 seconds and on to a targeted top-speed of 170 mph (274 km/h), with Ram noting that this record makes “it the most powerful, quickest, and fastest V-8-powered production pickup ever.”

The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup gets a front splitter that helps keep this truck grounded at top speeds plus a sport performance hood, which adds adding performance-boosting airflow to the engine in the Rumble Bee SRT, 392 Track Pack and 392.

In addition to dedicated launch control button for competition-level starts, the Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack and the Rumble Bee SRT features a total of seven driving modes : Auto, Sport, Track, Snow, Tow, Custom and power-limiting Valet mode.

While the entry-level Rumble Bee and Rumble Bee 392 rides on 285/45R22 all-season Pirelli Performance tyres, the 1500 Rumble Bee SRT and 392 Track Pack roll out with 325/40R22 all-season Goodyear tyres with a top-speed of 170 mph.

“There was a time when pick-up trucks were considered work vehicles. Today, Ram has a truck for every customer — from the work ready Tradesman to full-blown luxury in Tungsten,” said Tim Kuniskis, head of SRT Performance and North America Marketing at Stellantis.

The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee will be built at the American brand’s Saltillo Truck Light Duty plant in Coahuila, Mexico. Entry-level Rumble Bee with 395-hp 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 will be available starting late 2026 while the Rumble Bee 392 and Rumble Bee SRT will arrive in the first half of 2027.
