Xiaomi Launches New ‘YU7 Standard’, Track-bred ‘YU7 GT’ SUVs

Xiaomi launches new ‘YU7 Standard’, record-breaking ‘YU7 GT’ – two new additions to the fast-selling YU7 family. 

Entry-level YU7 Standard starts at 233,500 yuan (34,300 USD), while track-bred YU7 GT starts at 389,900 yuan (57,300 USD).

YU7 GT distinguishes itself with an exclusive widebody treatment, active rear diffuser and 24K gold carbon fiber badges.

At the “Human x Car x Home” full-ecosystem launch event on Thursday May 21 2026, Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun, officially unveiled the all-new ‘Xiaomi YU7 Standard’ and ‘Xiaomi YU7 GT’, two new additions to the fast-selling YU7 family.

The entry-level Xiaomi YU7 Standard starts at 233,500 yuan ($34,300), while the Xiaomi YU7 GT — a track-bred SUV engineered for “The Grand Tour” — starts at 389,900 yuan ($57,300).

YU7 GT distinguishes itself with an exclusive widebody treatment, a 295mm rear wide tyres, a unified front splitter, active rear diffuser, 24K gold carbon fiber badges plus a GT sport sound with 40W external speaker.

The high-performance YU7 GT is available in five exclusive colors, including Crimson Red and Titanium Silver, while the cabin gets three GT-exclusive interior colorways that are accented throughout with over a dozen GT badges.

Xiaomi YU7 Standard uses a 73 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery on a 752V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, which delivers a CLTC range of 643 km and provides 385 km of range after 15-minute fast charge.

A 101.7 kWh ternary lithium battery on an 897V ultra-high-voltage platform is fitted into the YU7 GT, which delivers a CLTC range of 705 km and adds 570 km of range after 15 minutes of fast charging.

Since the launch of the YU7 Series, Xiaomi said it has delivered 232,000 units as of April 30th 2026, with the car maker boasting that the driver-focused luxury performance SUV now among the top-selling mid-to-large SUVs in Chinese Mainland.
