1 minute and 47 Seconds : China-only AUDI E7X becomes the fastest SUV at Asia’s First Ridge circuit with 31 corners.
This feat by the AUDI E7X comes ahead of its official debut at the Auto China 2026 motor show between April 24 to May 3rd 2026.
E7X is the second production model from the China-exclusive sister brand AUDI, following the E5 Sportback named “2026 China Car Of The Year”.


The AUDI E7X, an electric SUV co-developed by the German automaker and China’s SAIC, has become the fastest SUV at the Asia’s First Ridge Circuit, after completing the 2.42-km-long track with 31 corners in a time of 1 minute and 47.93 seconds.
Its time at the circuit, known domestically as the Baijun Mountain Ridge Track, bested the Porsche Macan 4 Electric and the Xiaomi YU7 Max records of 1:49.09 and 1:52.23 respectively.

Modifications done to the AUDI E7X includes Continental air suspension, ZF continuous damping system, anti-roll bars and a specially developed Pirelli staggered tyres with 285-mm tyres in the rear axle.
The record-setting car was powered by a dual-motor AWD with a peak power output of 670-hp and a torque of 800 Nm, which allows speeds up to 100 km/h (60mph) in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h (140 mph).


This feat by the AUDI E7X comes ahead of its official debut at the Auto China 2026 motor show (Beijing Auto Show), which is set to take place in Beijing from April 24 to May 3rd 2026.
The AUDI E7X is the second production model from the China-exclusive sister brand AUDI, following the AUDI E5 Sportback named “2026 China Car Of The Year”.


“The AUDI E7X is an SUV without compromises,” says Fermín Soneira, CEO of the Audi and SAIC Cooperation Project. “Its confident stance, sporty proportions and progressive design come together to create a perfect balance of emotion and everyday usability, shaping an SUV that feels instantly right for our customers.”
The entry-level RWD AUDI E7X comes standard with a single e-motor for 402 hp while the AWD variant has a combined power output of 670 hp. Two battery options are available: 100 kWh and 109.3 kWh for a 635 – 751 km range.
