This would have been a very terrifying experience for the occupants of this SUV.

The rhino took an interest in a small black SUV, repeatedly ramming its bumpers and seemingly attacking the vehicle’s tires.

You can see the park employees on foot trying to control or distract the animal but to no avail.

According to Africam Safari, the male rhino’s aggressive behavior was due to the presence of a female rhino nearby.

A rhinoceros chased and rammed a small SUV carrying visitors at Africam Safari, a zoo park in central Mexico on July 30. Visitor Josue Fernando Gonzalez Aguilar filmed the incident. He noticed the rhino trotting toward a group of zebras, but then the animal took an interest in a small black SUV, repeatedly ramming its bumpers and seemingly attacking the vehicle’s tires. Gonzalez Aguilar said park employees on foot tried to control or distract the animal, and then closed that part of the park. According to Africam Safari, the male rhino’s aggressive behavior was due to the presence of a female rhino nearby, and that this was an “isolated case”. Local media reported no one was injured and that the rhino is now in a different section.
