Ahead Of April 9 Reveal, 2025 Toyota 4Runner Teased With Roll-down Rear Window, Large Touchscreen - autojosh

2025 Toyota 4Runner SUV teased with roll-down rear window, large touchscreen ahead if April 9th 2024 reveal.

It follows the first official image that dropped a week ago, giving us a sneak peek of the rear of the redesigned SUV.

Redesigned body-on-frame SUV is expected to use the modular TNGA-F platform used on the Land Cruiser, Tacoma and Sequoia.

It will likely use the Tacoma’s turbocharged 2.4L four-cylinder, in place of the 270-hp 4.0-liter V-6 used on the current model.

4Runner’s rivals includes American-made trucks like the Jeep Wrangler, Ford Bronco, Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Chevrolet Tahoe.

Japanese carmaker, Toyota, has dropped another teaser of the upcoming 2025 4Runner SUV and also confirmed that the sixth-generation of the truck will debut this Tuesday, April 9 2024.

The latest image and video released by Toyota shows that the next-generation 2025 4Runner will retain the model’s signature power-operated roll-down rear window. It will also get a large, tablet-style infotainment display atop the dashboard.

“The power rear window is kind of our thing. 😏 The all-new #4Runner will be revealed April 9th,” Toyota USA wrote in its caption.

This teaser follows the first official image that dropped a week ago, giving us a sneak peek of the redesigned SUV, which now has a new “4Runner” badge placed on the lower part of the tailgate.

Toyota hasn’t released any details about the 4Runner, but the completely redesigned body-on-frame SUV is expected to use the modular TNGA-F platform, that is already in use on the Land Cruiser, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia.

In addition, the upcoming 4Runner will likely use the Tacoma’s turbocharged 2.4L four-cylinder, in place of the dependable 270-horsepower 4.0-liter V-6 used on the current model.

Toyota 4Runner SUV’s rivals includes off-road-ready American-made trucks like the Jeep Wrangler, Ford Bronco, Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Chevrolet Tahoe.
