Airport Gate Charges : FAAN begins sale of electronic tags (e-tags) to motorists at 24 Federal Airports across the country.

It follows the presidential directive that mandates the use of e-tags for accessing the nation’s federal airports.

FAAN said there will be an option of payment via cash or POS only at the Access Gate.





The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has informed the motoring public that electronic tags (e-tags) are now available for sale at all the 24 Federal Airports across the country.

In a statement on Friday titled with “Notice Of Sale Of 2024 E-TAGS”, FAAN said this is in line with the presidential directive that mandates the use of e-tags for accessing the nation’s Federal Airports.

“Following the Presidential Directive that all motorists are mandated to pay for e-tags at all the 24 Federal Airports across the country, we wish to inform the general public that e-tags are available for sale from May 17th 2024”

The statement also listed the locations where the e-tags can be purchased. For all motorists without e-tags, FAAN said there will be an option of payment via cash or point of sale (POS) only at the Access Gate.

Aviation Terminal) Contact : 0803 463 3527 or 0813 756 1615.

“All lines are open, between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday. Please note that there will be an option of payment via cash or POS ONLY at the Access Gate. This is for all Motorists without E-Tags.”
