On September 5th, The New BMW iX3 Makes Its Debut

BMW will hold the world premiere of the new iX3, the first model of the Neue Klasse, on September 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Central European Time.
The general public will then be able to see this new electric SUV from September 9 to 14 at the Munich Motor Show, after which its series production will begin, which is planned for the end of 2025 in Hungary. The Debrecen plant, specially built for the Neue Klasse line, should become the cornerstone of BMW’s EV strategy.
BMW is also introducing next-generation battery technology for its Neue Klasse models, promising a 20% increase in energy density and a 30% improvement in charging speed and range. According to the German brand, these new batteries can deliver over 800 km on a single charge.
* The revolutionary BMW Panoramic iDrive display and control concept provides perfect driver orientation and sets a new standard.
* Charge faster, drive further: the sixth-generation (Gen6) all-electric powertrain sets standards in performance and efficiency.
* The new BMW iX3 50 xDrive has an electric range of up to 800 km (WLTP), and only 10 minutes of charging is required to provide a range of over 350 km.
The Heart of Joy control center and BMW Dynamic Performance Control software take the dynamic potential of electric drive systems to a new level.
At the heart of this pioneering technology is BMW’s intriguingly named “Heart of Joy.” This advanced, in-house-developed superchip is designed not only to dramatically transform the driving dynamics of BMW’s future electric fleet but also to uphold BMW’s cherished ethos of “The Ultimate Driving Machine,” summed up in their legendary slogan “Freude am Fahren.”
