Audi unveils Concept C, a new design design philosophy that previews upcoming electric 2-door sports car.

Concept C introduces a new Vertical Frame inspired by the Auto Union Type C racing car (1936) and third-gen Audi A6 (2004).

The 2-seater Audi Concept C roadster combines the elegance of a coupé with an open-top experience.

Concept C will make its global debut at the 2025 International Motor Show (IAA Mobility) in Munich on 7 September 2025.

Audi has unveiled an all-new, all-electric Concept C at an event in Milan, Italy ahead of its global debut at the 2025 International Motor Show (IAA Mobility) in Munich on 7 September 2025.

The German brand says that the 2-seater Concept C previews a future production model and will shape further models beyond that. The new roadster combines the elegance of a coupé with an open-top experience.

Presented in the color “Titanium”, Audi Concept C roadster introduces a new Vertical Frame inspired by the Auto Union Type C racing car (1936) and the third-gen Audi A6 (2004) and also an electrically retractable hardtop.

Inside, the all-electric two-seat sports car, which places the driver at the center, features a 10.4-inch foldable center display, a steering wheel with haptic controls and a center console designed to achieve clarity and precision in user interaction.

“Clarity, focus, and commitment to implementation – that’s how we are reshaping design and the company” CEO Gernot Döllner said at the presentation of the new design philosophy in Milan.

Audi presented a new design philosophy that shape future production models about a year after Massimo Frascella, the Chief Creative Officer of AUDI AG, arrived in Ingolstadt.

“Radical simplicity is at the heart of our approach. We achieve clarity by reducing everything to the essential,” says Frascella.
