All-new 1,025-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 arrives as world’s most powerful muscle car.

Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is the fastest accelerating and quickest production car money can buy.

6.2-liter supercharged V-8 allows Demon 170 to launch from 0-60 mph in 1.66 seconds and pull 2.0 g off the line.

It can complete the quarter-mile in an NHRA-certified 8.91 seconds at 151.17 mph when the drag strip is prepped.





Only 3,300 of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, with 3,000 of those muscle cars destined for the USA.

Meet the all-new 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, a fire-spitting street-legal drag racer that not only bids farewell to the brand’s V-8 muscle cars but also arrived as the world’s most powerful muscle car.

Thanks to its 1,025-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged V-8, the Demon 170 will launch from 0-60 mph in 1.66 seconds and pull 2.0 g off the line, making it the fastest accelerating and quickest production car money can buy.





“After all these years, we owed it as much to them as to ourselves to celebrate this end, and give them something that produces a lot of pride in the brand that they love,” says Dodge boss, Tim Kuniskis.

According to Dodge, the Demon can complete the quarter-mile in an NHRA-certified 8.91 seconds at 151.17 mph when the drag strip is prepped, making it the first production vehicle to do this in under nine seconds.

The 170 name on the seventh and final “Last Call” special edition model refers to the E85 ethanol-blended gasoline, which when used allows the V8 to churn out 1,025-hp at 6,500 rpm and 945 pound-feet of torque at 4,200 rpm. With E10 gasoline, the output is generates 900 horsepower and 810 lb-ft.

Challenger SRT Demon 170 comes standard with only a driver’s seat, a basic radio and an air conditioning. Options like front passenger and back seats are available for $1 each. Customers can also get options like premium Black Nappa leather and Alcantara or Demonic Red Laguna leather, a sunroof and a better sound system.
