In The Second Quarter, Xiaomi’s EV Sales Revenue Climbed To 2.4 billion Euros

Chinese company Xiaomi increased revenue from its electric car business to 20.6 billion yuan (2.44 billion euros) in the second quarter, thanks to record deliveries.
This Chinese company has also confirmed the long-awaited launch in Europe, reports the Electrive.com portal.
This represents an increase of 13.81 percent compared to 18.1 billion yuan (about two billion euros) in the first quarter and an increase of 232.26 percent compared to 6.2 billion yuan (about 700 million euros) in the same period last year.
Xiaomi launched its first car model, the SU7, last year, but it is already a major player in the Chinese car market. A second model is on the way with the YU7 electric SUV, but waiting times for this model are long.

Xiaomi’s vehicle shipments grew impressively year-on-year, with a total of 81,302 SU7 and YU7 vehicles delivered to customers from the beginning of April to the end of June, representing a year-on-year increase of 197.73 percent. Compared with the first quarter’s data, this represents an increase of 71.6 percent.
