Aston Martin DBX707 Medical Car conducts high-speed track test on a rainy day, ahead of season-opening race in Australia.
Aston Martin Vantage joins the DBX707 as the Official FIA Safety Car of Formula 1 for the new 2025/26 Grand Prix Grand season.
Both cars are finished in the same ‘Aston Martin Racing Green’ as the single-seater Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team AMR25 cars.

An high-performance Aston Martin DBX707 ‘Medical Car’ was seen conducting a high-speed track test on a rainy Saturday, ahead of season-opening race in Australian Grand Prix on Sunday (today), which was won by McLaren’s British racing driver, Lando Norris.
This specially equipped Aston Martin DBX707 ultra-luxury SUV and the Vantage returned for 2025/26 Grand Prix season this March, with the duo still taking the joint role of Medical Cars and Safety Cars respectively.

Equipped with tyres designed to maintain grip and stability on a wet track, both vehicles are designed to ensure the safety and well-being of drivers and medical personnel on the track, even in rainy conditions.
As in previous years, the two high-performance cars are finished in the same ‘Aston Martin Racing Green’as the single-seater Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team AMR25 cars that raced alongside other 20 F1 cars.

With wet weather forecast for the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday, Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton earlier revealed he would be burning the midnight oil to learn Ferrari’s rain settings.
“Tomorrow’s going to be a challenge, I’ve never driven this car in the rain,” said Hamilton.
“I don’t even know the rain settings so I’ve got to go and study that tonight. It will be a learning experience again.”
