Audi’s Unveils Revolut F1 Team, R26 Formula 1 Car Ahead Of Start Of 2026 Season On March 8

Audi Revolut F1 Team, R26 Formula 1 Car officially unveiled ahead of start of 2026 Season on March 8.

Audi’s F1 livery color combines Lava Red paint with titanium silver and gloss black carbon fiber.

Its R26 Formula 1 cars features gas-fed 1.6-liter V-6 and an electric motor-generator.

R26 cars will complete its final test laps in Bahrain (February 11–13 and February 18–20) during the official test sessions. 

Audi has officially unveiled its Audi R26 Formula 1 Car as well as race livery, team clothing and driver overalls, ahead of the German brand’s debut at the pinnacle of motorsport in Australia on March 8 2026.

“Today, a lot of pieces of the puzzle are coming together,” Gernot Döllner, Audi CEO and Chairman of Audi Motorsport, said at the unveiling, where two Audi drivers Gabriel Bortoleto (Brazil) and Nico Hülkenberg (Germany) for 2026 season were also presented.

“It’s impressive to see how the intensive preparation is paying off and the performance of those involved is becoming evident. For the first time, the full power of the project is on display. We are ready and excited to inspire people around the world by taking part in Formula 1.”

Audi’s F1 race livery color combines Lava Red paint with titanium silver and gloss black carbon fiber while its R26 Formula 1 cars features gas-fed 1.6-liter V-6 and an electric motor-generator.

Following its reveal, Audi Revolut F1 Team will shakedown the new generation R26 Formula 1 cars behind closed doors at Barcelona from January 26 to 30 to verify that all systems including the engine, gearbox, brakes and sensors, function correctly.

During the official test sessions in Bahrain (February 11–13 and February 18–20), the German said its R26 Formula 1 car will complete its final test laps before the first participation of Audi in a Formula 1 Grand Prix.
