Bentley To Offer Combustion Engines Until At Least 2035, Says New ICE Models On The Way
Bentley Motors will offer combustion engined-models until at least 2035, says new ICE models on the way.
Said previous target of being exclusively electric by 2035 could be extended in response with high demand for PHEV models.
Current hybridised Continental GT Coupe, Convertible and Flying Spur offered in both High and Ultra-Performance engines.

Bentley Motors CEO Frank-Steffen Walliser has confirmed that the company will continue producing combustion engines until at least 2035, adding that its previous target of being exclusively electric in ten years time could be extended in response to positive customer demand for PHEV models.
Walliser made this known during a press conference streamed live from Bentley’s home in Crewe, where he also revealed that the company’s first fully-electric car will launch towards the end of 2026 and deliveries to markets during 2027.
According to Bentley CEO, its hybridised Continental GT Coupe, Convertible and Flying Spur offered in both High and Ultra-Performance engines, would be available until at least 2035 to give customers choice.

“Today’s updates to our Beyond100+ strategy reaffirm Bentley’s commitment to progress — responsibly and sustainably. We are evolving our product cadence to reflect the realities of a changing world and a dynamic marketplace,” Bentley Chairman and CEO commented following the announcement.
“By extending introducing new internal combustion engined models, and offering hybrid powertrains until at least 2035, we are ensuring that every Bentley customer can continue to experience the full breadth of our performance and craftsmanship.”
Walliser said Bentley will revealed a new non-hybridised and limited production performance model before the end of this year, adding that a similarly-engined cars may to follow to cater to customers demand across its global markets.
