Bentley’s First Electric Car Will Charge From 0 To 100 Miles In Less Than 7 Minutes, Arrives In Late 2026

Bentley’s first electric car to arrive in late 2026, charge from 0 to 100 miles (161km) in just seven minutes.
Marque first confirmed last November that its first fully electric car will arrive in 2026 as the “world’s first true Luxury Urban SUV.”
Then, Bentley said the new model will be the first of a new BEV model to be launched every year over the next decade.
British luxury marque, Bentley Motors, has announced the start of pre-series build of its first fully-electric car ahead of launch towards the end of 2026 and deliveries to markets during 2027.
In a press conference streamed live from Bentley’s home in Crewe, CEO, Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser revealed the as yet unnamed model will offer industry-leading charging speeds, from 0 to 100 miles (161km) in just seven minutes.
“Our first fully electric Bentley, the world’s first true Luxury Urban SUV, represents a bold step forward, it embodies our vision for sustainable luxury and technological excellence,” Walliser said today while announcing a series of updates to its forward-thinking Beyond100+ strategy.

“With industry-leading charging capability and unmistakable Bentley character and design, it marks the beginning of an exciting new era for our brand – a future defined by innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainability.”
Car brand first confirmed last November that its first fully electric car will arrive in 2026 as the “world’s first true Luxury Urban SUV.” Then, Bentley said the new model will be the first of a new Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) model to be launched every year over the next decade.
While Bentley is yet to give further details about its first-ever electric supercar, the marque noted that the development continues at pace with pre-series or prototype vehicles embarking on a global performance programme ahead of reveal.
