Toyota Chairman’s one-off official car now available as Bespoke GRMN-badged Century ultra-luxury sedan.

GRMN-badged Century showed off alongside Century coupe Concept and Tailor-made SUV at 2025 Japan Mobility Show.

Before now, a GRMN Century sedan was a one-off car specially created for the then-president/CEO of Toyota, Akio Toyota.

Earlier this week, Akio Toyota, the Chairman Of Toyota Motors, presented a new standalone ultra-luxury ‘Century’ brand and a new Century coupe-like sedan Concept as part of the brand’s move to better take on foreign brands like Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

Alongside the Century coupe-like sedan Concept, Akio also announced a new Century Tailor-made SUV, previously sold under the Toyota brand and known as Toyota Century SUV, and a first-ever Century GRMN sedan.

“Together, we have decided to launch the Century brand. ‘One of One’ or as Nakamura put it, ‘To be like no other,’ said Akio during the presentation of the Century brand at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo.

Before now, a GRMN (Gazoo Racing Masters of Nürburgring)-badged Century sedan was a one-off car specially created for the then-president and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Toyota, Akio Toyota, who is now the chairman of Toyota.

In 2018, nearly two years after the GRMN performance sub-brand was launched, Akio, well-known for being an avid racer, took his a GRMN-badged official car to the track during the Gazoo Racing’s end of the 2018 motorsport season celebration.

While Toyota is yet to give the specs of the new Century GRMN sedan, Akio’s one-off Limo combines the opulence of the regular Century sedan (a model only available in Japan) with the top level GRMN sporting performance, that is comparable to the Mercedes AMG and BMW M.
