Lagos Police recovers 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 SUV two days after it was stolen at gunpoint.
GLE 350 recovered two days after the luxury SUV worth N200m was stolen at gunpoint in Victoria Island.
State police command spokesperson said the suspects have been identified, investigation is currently ongoing.
The Lagos State Police Command has announced the recovery of a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 SUV, two days after the luxury SUV worth over N200 million was stolen at gunpoint in Victoria Island.
This was made known by the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Superintendent of Police (SP) Abimbola Adebisi, in a post shared on X (formerly known as Twitter).
According to the state police command spokesperson, the suspects involved have been identified and investigation is currently ongoing.

“The vehicle has been promptly recovered by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, and the individuals responsible have been identified. Investigation is currently ongoing, and the outcome will be communicated in due course”.
According to reports, the vehicle, with Vehicle Identification Number 4JGFB4FB8SB274117, was last seen heading towards the Ozumba Mbadiwe axis after it was taken at gunpoint at Akin-Olugbade Street, Victoria Island.
The stolen 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 SUV was described as black metallic with factory-fitted tinted windows, brown leather interior, LED headlamps, AMG alloy wheels, and a distinctive chrome front grille.
