11-Year-Old Boy Rescues Sick Grandmother, Drives Her To Hospital In Mercedes Benz

An 11-year-old boy has rescued his sick grandmother and driven her to the hospital in a Mercedes Benz.

PJ Brewer-Laye from Indianapolis, United States, took the impressive and courageous step after his grandma named Angela started feeling dizzy, weak and unable to see clearly. He took the bold step when there was no one else to help her.

According to a report by the New York Post on Friday, September 4, when the elderly woman was ill, she leaned against the stop sign on a road. Her grandson who was driving his go-kart at the time noticed her and came to help. “I was leaning against the stop sign, and all of a sudden, I look to my right, and I see my car. I was looking at my Mercedes-Benz coming towards me. Just in an easy, calm manner, it was coming towards me. I looked in the car. It was PJ,” Angela recalled.

The grandma praised PJ’s driving skills saying he had become a “pro” within a short period of time. “This child is only 11 years old and drives like a pro. He rides either his four-wheeler or his dirt bike while I’m trying to get an exercise,” she said.

Angela said the boy who is close to becoming a teenager after turning 12 was “calm during the whole period.” He drove me home, and he pulled in the driveway. And when I say he pulled in the driveway so precise, because my driveway is kind of narrow. He didn’t go up the curb, in the grass, nothing. He pulled in the driveway, in the garage, and helped me out the car. He’s an extra special little boy and he doesn’t ask for anything in return,” said Angela. It was not the first time the young boy was driving a car as he used to park his grandfather’s vehicles under close supervision.
