Bugatti Owner Pulled Over And Fined $150 Cos His $4million Chiron SS 300+ Lacked Front Plate Number
Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ owner pulled over and fined $150 bcos his $4 million hypercar lacked the obligatory front plate number.
French luxury brand Bugatti plans to build just 30 of the sold-out record-breaking Chiron Super Sport 300+ Hypercars.
The owner of a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ was pulled over by police in London and fined last week because his longtail hypercar lacked the obligatory front plate.
But the £100 (about $135) fine is obviously a small change for the owner who paid nearly $4 million to purchase one of just 30 Chiron Super Sport 300+ that Bugatti is making.

This left-hand-drive Bugatti Chiron SS 300+ could be among the three UK customer orders which Luxury Car Dealership, H.R. Owen Bugatti London, took delivery last month.
The trio of hypercars, pictured parked in formation inside the dealership’s workshop, were delivered to their owners in January.
The Chiron Super Sport 300+ was first revealed to the world in 2019 when it became the first car from a production manufacturer to break the 300mph barrier.
Record-breaking Chiron Super Sport 300+ recorded a world record speed of 304.773mph back in 2019, with Official Bugatti Test Pilot Andy Wallace behind the wheel.
Unlike the Chiron used for the record-setting run, this road-going Super Sport 300+ Hypercar has a passenger seat and a top speed that is electronically limited to 440 kph (273.4 mph).
The Chiron Super Sport 300+ is marked out by its unique paintwork and finished in black carbon fibre. It is complemented by a Jet Orange racing stripe running through the center of the car.
It also uses the upgraded version of the legendary 8.0-litre W16 engine, to deliver a total of 1,600PS – exactly 100PS more than the standard Bugatti Chiron.
