Bugatti Says Average Buyer’s Of Its Hypercars Owns 84 Cars, 3 Private Jets, And A Yacht
Bugatti says average buyer’s of its 7-figure hypercars owns 84 vehicles, 3 private jets, and a luxury yacht.
Wolfgang Dürheimer, who was president of Bugatti until January 2018, said this in an interview with Bloomberg.
In comparison, Wolfgang Dürheimer said that Bentley customer on average owns 8 cars.
Did you know an average Bugatti buyer owns roughly 84 vehicles, three private jets and a yacht? Yes, you heard that right… Speaking in an interview with Bloomberg, Wolfgang Dürheimer, who was president of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. until January 2018, said :
“The clientele between Bentley and Bugatti is remarkably different,” adding that “The Bentley customer on average owns 8 cars. The average Bugatti customer has about 84 cars, 3 jets and 1 yacht.”
Despite the seven figure prices of Bugatti limited-edition cars, the planned units are sold out even before some clients see the concepts, just like the one-off La Voiture Noire.
Speaking about the Bugatti La Voiture Noire….
The Bugatti La Voiture Noire, which cost a whopping $19 million, was the most expensive new car when it was introduced back in 2019, before being dethroned by the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail in 2021.
While Bugatti still remains mum about the owner of the hypercar, its spokesperson confirmed approaching a single buyer with concept sketches of the vehicle, and the customer agreed to buy it on the spot.
“As soon as a customer makes a public claim, then we can refer to that, but other than that we will honor a customer’s anonymity and he will decide whether or not he wants to remain anonymous”.
The only clue the French luxury Hypercar maker gave is that the lucky buyer of the one-off hypercar, which translates to “The Black Car”, is married, and that his wife suggested the Hypercar’s six tailpipes.
