Bugatti Shows Off Two Matching Custom Chiron Super Sports Created For American Couple
French hypercar maker, Bugatti, shows off two matching custom Chiron Super Sports it created for American couple.
The two Chiron Super Sports, dubbed “L’Aura” and “Coup de Foudre,” are finished in “Vagues de Lumière” hand-painted liveries.
“Vagues de Lumière” hand-painted liveries were first seen twelve years ago in Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport “L’Or Blanc”.
The wife’s “L’Aura” is finished in a combination of bright red Rosso Efesto and vibrant orange Arancia Mira.
The husband’s “Coup de Foudre” ( which means ‘bolt of lightning’ and ‘love at first sight’) is finished in French Racing Blue.

Bugatti has revealed a pair of uniquely specced Chiron Super Sport hypercars ordered by a couple and created by the brand’s Sur Mesure program, which allows clients to personalize their cars with bespoke details.
According to Bugatti, the American couple had owned several Bugattis in the past but never from brand new, so “they decided to celebrate their great passion for Bugatti by each buying the ultimate Grand Tourisme.

Jascha Straub, Lead Designer of Sur Mesure at the home of Bugatti in Molsheim, explained :
“The “Vagues de Lumière” effect is not new to Bugatti, but each customer has their own wishes and desires for how it should look, and each car requires a different pattern.
“A Chiron Pur Sport, for example, will have different reflections to a Chiron Super Sport, so every time we are really working from the ground up to ensure absolute perfection.

While the wife chose a combination of bright red Rosso Efesto and vibrant orange Arancia Mira for her “L’Aura”, the husband’s “Coup de Foudre” (which means ‘bolt of lightning’ and ‘love at first sight’ in English) is finished in French Racing Blue.
“The true beauty of these cars also lies in their individuality – every painter has a different style, so each car is totally unique. I saw this car for the first time recently in the bright sunshine of California and people could not believe how incredible it looked. What we have created together is an inspirational sculpture,” Jascha Straub added.
