Would You Buy This Rusty 1960 Benz 190 SL For £60,000,Same Price As A Brand New 2017 Benz E-Class

This old 1960 Mercedes 190 SL, left to rot in a garage for 30 years was found by an auctioneer valuing a collection of motorbikes.
It hasn’t been touched since the late 80s and the owner was totally unaware of how much it was worth even in such a poor state.
The Mercedes 190 was introduced in 1955 as an affordable alternative to the exclusive Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, whose elegant styling it shares. Its 120hp engine propels the car to 108mph.
The classic car will require tens of thousands of pounds to bring it back to life. And after the restoration, it could be worth around £150,000 as it’s got just 30,000 miles on the clock.
With the prices of barn find classic cars soaring, the 190 SL was eventually sold for £60,000,that’s about the cost of a modern day Mercedes E-Class fitted with a V6 engine, luxury leather seats, a self-parking system and keyless entry.
Would you buy it for £60,000 that’s about N29,000,000? Tell us in the comments section.
