Ebonyi Gov Buys SUVs For All Doctors Working In General Hospitals, Hands Over 52 Ambulances
Ebonyi gov Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru buys SUVs for all medical doctors working in General Hospitals across the State.
The Governor’s kind gesture will ensure that the medical doctors do not convert the hospital ambulances to their private cars.
In addition, the Governor also procured 52 ambulances for all the General hospitals in the State, 20 of which have been delivered.
Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has procured brand new Changan CS35 Crossover Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) for all the medical doctors working in General Hospitals across the State to help improve their operational efficiency.
In addition, the Governor also procured 52 ambulances for all the General hospitals in the State, 20 of which have been delivered. Each of the General hospitals in Ebonyi State will get two (2) ambulances, according to a statement by Leo Ekene Oketa, the Special Assistant to the Governor (New Media).
“Find below, the SUVs procured by Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for all the medical doctors working in the General Hospitals across the State, to ensure they are at work seamlessly and respond to duty calls.
“This in no small measure will give them good confidence and assurance of their welfare, having been employed by the State Government.
“It is meant as well, to ensure that they do not convert the hospital ambulances to their private cars. All the SUVs have been paid for and all of them delivered.
“Talking of ambulances… 52 were paid for, but 20 have arrived. The rest will be delivered soon. The Governor intends to have 2 ambulances for each General Hospital in Ebonyi State.
“Ebonyi State is on the rise, and our Chief Servant is leaving no stone unturned in that regard. The Governor will deploy them soon, according to his esteemed discretion.”
