Carwow.com, an online marketplace for buying and selling new and used cars, has pitted the Lamborghini Urus Performante against the Ferrari Purosangue to know which is quicker in a straight-line drag race.





The Lamborghini Urus and the Ferrari Purosangue are not only their respective brand’s first-ever SUVs but also two of the fastest and most luxurious high-performance supercars on the market?

Ferrari’s four-seater Crossover Purosangue uses a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 engine that churns out the power of 715 horses and 716Nm (528 pound-feet) of torque.

This powertrain allows the $398,000 Ferrari sports car to go from standstill to 62 mph in just 3.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 193 mph (310 km/h).

The Urus on the track isn’t the Hybrid Urus SE, but the $230,000 Performante model – so it uses a twin turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine that produces 666 horsepower and 850Nm of torque.

Lamborghini’s best-selling model can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.3 seconds and reache a top speed of 190mph (306 km/h).

In the video provided by Carwow, the Ferrari Purosangue won two out of the three races, though would-be buyers aren’t going to care too much because non of these opulent SUVs weren’t built for drag racing.
