How does Tesla’s all-new Cybertruck compare against Ford F-150, Bollinger B2 and Rivian R1T on price, horsepower, bed lenght, range, payload and towing capacity?

Tesla on Thursday added a 6-seater all-pickup truck, the Cybertruck, to its lineup of battery-powered cars. The exterior of the truck is made of ultra-strong stainless steel alloy, while the glass is said to be shatterproof. According to Musk, Cybertruck will be able to take smaller firearms like 9-millimeter handguns.

During the unveiling, Tesla CEO described the new as “Better truck than an F-150” and “faster than a Porsche 911”— This  implies that the Hulky truck will rival best selling pickups like the Ford F Series and GM’s Chevrolet Silverado. It will also compete with electric trucks like the Rivian R1T and the Land Rover Defender-like Bollinger B2.

Despite the unbreakable glass windows that broke during the unveiling, Tesla has received 146,000 (now over 200k)  Cybertruck orders so far.

Elon Musk wrote on his twitter page:

“146k Cybertruck orders so far, with 42% choosing dual, 41% tri & 17% single motor.” The three versions of the electric pickup truck is priced between $39,900 – $69,900.

But some people might still be looking for other options when it comes to electric pickup trucks. Start-ups like Rivian and Bollinger has also shown what their electric pickup trucks are capable of doing.
