Unconfirmed reports suggests that the driver lost control of the Cadillac Escalade, causing it to flip on the wet freeway.

The toughest off-roaders on the market are likely to roll over when pushed over limit due to their high center of gravity. 

The driver of a Cadillac Escalade was recently filmed crying uncontrollably moments after crashing his boss’s ultra-luxury SUV reportedly worth ₦200 million on a rainy night in Lagos.

Footage taken at the scene of crash shows the high-riding SUV lying on its side with heavy front-end damage. Good samaritans were also seen trying to console the driver, who was seen standing next to the badly damaged SUV.

Details on how the high-riding SUV ended up overturning wasn’t revealed, but unconfirmed reports suggests that the driver lost control of the Cadillac Escalade, causing it to flip on the wet freeway.

“I’d rather kill myself than survive after this… I don’t know how I’ll face my oga… this car is worth over ₦200 million… my life is finished,” the driver can be heard saying.

While Cadillac Escalade as well as Mercedes-Benz G-Class have a reputation for being the toughest off-roaders on the market, they are not designed for performance driving as they are likely to roll over when pushed over limit due to their high center of gravity.
