In Europe, Mazda Has Created An App For Charging Its EVs

Mazda has launched its own app called Mazda Charging, which provides access to hundreds of thousands of chargers across Europe. Mazda Charging offers real-time information on charging availability and prices and also enables payment for this service.
The application was developed in cooperation with the company autoSense from Zurich, which specializes in digital solutions for charging. The partnership aims to provide customer service in the local market. In the future, it is planned to add new functions such as optimization of charging costs and use of “green” energy.
The service will launch in Europe this month and coincides with the premiere of the Mazda 6e electric model.
The application offers the following:
finds charging stations and displays their availability in real time
contains data on power and charging prices
provides the ability to start and stop charging, as well as direct payment
supports various payment methods without a mandatory subscription
it works in different languages and in different currencies.
In addition to the mobile application, an RFID card is also available, which enables charging to be started and stopped without the need to use a smartphone. Customer service is enabled through autoSense.
Mazda Europe director Martijn ten Brink said the new service aims to make charging electric vehicles as simple and natural as possible, just like driving.
