Jaguar unveils Type 00 Concept, a two-door electric Coupe that previews its upcoming 4-door GT set to debut in late 2025.
Type 00 features a long bonnet, distinctive front light signature and a pair of dramatic butterfly doors that open to reveal a modernist interior.
First-ever Jaguar EV will go 478 miles on a single charge and add 200 miles of range in as little as 15 minutes with rapid charging.
Jaguar today unveiled the Type 00 Concept, a two-door electric Coupe that embodies the british brand’s creative philosophy of Exuberant Modernism, following the debut of its new brand identity two weeks ago.
Unveiled at Miami Art Week in Florida, Type 00 (pronounced Type Zero Zero) previews the brand’s first new‑generation production Jaguar – a four-door GT that is set to be revealed In late 2025, ahead of first sales in 2026.
Based on Jaguar Electrical Architecture (JEA), the Type 00 features a long bonnet, a distinctive front light signature and a boat‑tail as well as a pair of dramatic butterfly doors that open to reveal a modernist interior.
In addition, it has a hand‑finished brass ingot on each side of the car which theatrically deploy to reveal rear‑facing cameras. Like its charging ports and front air intakes, these ingots remain hidden until needed.

“Type 00 is a pure expression of Jaguar’s new creative philosophy. It has an unmistakable presence. This is the result of brave, unconstrained creative thinking, and unwavering determination,” said Professor Gerry McGovern, JLR Chief Creative Officer.
“It is our first physical manifestation and the foundation stone for a new family of Jaguars that will look unlike anything you’ve ever seen. A vision which strives for the highest level of artistic endeavour”.
According to Jaguar, its first-ever EV will have a driving range up to 770km (478 miles) on a single charge and will be able add up to 321km (200 miles) of range in as little as 15 minutes with rapid charging.
While the brand is still mute on the pricing, with the automaker previously hinted the grand tourer will have a starting price of around 100,000 British pounds (approximately $163,000).
