Jaguar’s four‑door GT prototypes begins cold weather testing on the frozen lakes ahead of reveal later this year.
Sub‑zero temperatures will allow Jaguar engineers to validate the four‑door GT’s advanced ThermAssist technology.
150 prototypes will cover hundreds of thousands of miles across hot desert highways, frozen lakes and advanced virtual environments.
Featuring a tri-motor all-wheel-drive system, the 1,000-hp four-door GT is set to become the most powerful production Jaguar ever.

Jaguar has shown off prototypes of its upcoming luxury four‑door GT playing in extreme temperatures as low as minus 40°C in the Arctic Circle ahead of world premiere later this year.
New images shared by the British luxury marque shows camouflaged prototypes of the all-electric four‑door GT undergoing cold weather testing on the frozen lakes of Sweden.
