JLR introduces industry first tyres for Range Rover made from rice husks, recycled steel and Plant‑based resins.

New tyres features over 70% bio-based and recycled materials, including FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified natural rubber. 

It will be available this year as on select 22-inch wheel options for new Range Rover, ahead of a wider roll‑out across JLR’s other brands.

The new tyre will feature the FSC marking along with the distinctive logo identifying Pirelli tyres made with more than 50% bio-based and recycled materials.

Global tyre manufacturer, Pirelli, has launched the first standard production P Zero tyres for the global market, featuring over 70% bio-based and recycled materials, including FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified natural rubber.

Developed specifically for JLR, the new tyres will be available this year as standard on select 22-inch wheel options for the new Range Rover, ahead of a wider roll‑out and aim to expand across JLR’s other brands.

Pirelli says that the P Zero will be manufactured using materials such as rice husk-derived silica, recycled steel, circular carbon black, bio-resins and FSC-certified natural rubber.

In addition, the new tyre will feature the FSC marking along with the distinctive logo identifying Pirelli tyres made with more than 50% bio-based and recycled materials.
