During the three-month period to 30 September 2023, wholesale volumes reached 96,817 units (+29 percent).

Order book remains strong at 168,000 units at the end of the second quarter (from 185,000 at the end of the first quarter).

Demand for its most profitable Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Defender models accounted for 77% of the orders

Retail sales for the second quarter were 106,561 units (+21%), including sales from Chery Jaguar Land Rover China JV).





Retail volumes higher in all regions year-on-year : Overseas up 56%, North America up 32%, Europe up 16%, UK up 9% and China up 7%.

British luxury marque, JLR, reports an increased sales volumes as well as high demands for its most profitable models during the second quarter of FY24 (Q3 2023 or three-month period to 30 September 2023).

During the three-month period to 30 September 2023, wholesale volumes reached 96,817 units (+29%), excluding the Chery Jaguar Land Rover China JV), and up 4% compared to the quarter ended 30 June 2023.

For the first half of the financial year, wholesale volumes reached 190,070 (+29%) while retail sales for the second quarter were 106,561 units (+21%), including sales from Chery Jaguar Land Rover China JV).





The company said retail volumes were also higher in all regions year-on-year : Overseas up 56%, North America up 32%, Europe up 16%, UK up 9% and China up 7%. Based on preliminary cash balances, JLR expects positive free cash flow of around £300 million in Q2 FY24.
