LASG Close Down Ajayi Farm Level Crossing In Ikeja

The Lagos state government has temporarily closed down Ajayi farm road.

According to a tweet by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Sunday, the close down which is specifically for vehicular movement which will last from 7am on Sunday, 2nd August to 7pm on Monday, 3rd August, 2020.

The temporary closure is to enable the laying of railway tracks. Alternative routes were also announced for motorists.

The statement read

TRAVEL ADVISORY – AJAYI FARM

The Adegbola Level Crossing (Ajayi Farm) shall be closed to vehicular traffic flow from 7am on Sunday, 2nd August to 7pm on Monday, 3rd August, 2020 for laying of rail tracks.

The following alternatives are advised:

– Motorists coming from Bolade-Oshodi to Ikeja UBridge or ObaAkran:

Connect Ikeja GRA through Works Rd and  link ObaAkinjobiWay towards Kodesoh and ObaAkran.

– Motorists coming from Ikeja UBridge to AgegeMotorRd:

Avoid the Local Government area and Ajibola Street.

– Also, motorists coming from Agege to connect Ikeja Inside:

Go through Ashade to link ObaAkran enroute Ikeja.

All inconveniences regretted.
