Meet The All-new Ferrari Luce, The Brand’s First-ever Electric Car

Ferrari has finally taken the wraps off the all-new 2027 Luce, the Italian brand’s highly anticipated, next-generation sports car and the “first electric Ferrari” from the Maranello marque.
The all-new Luce debut as the second 4-door Ferrari (after Purosangue) and the first with five seats. Designed with design firm LoveFrom, the exterior of the Luce is highlighted by a floating front and a rear aerodynamic wings aimed at driving aerodynamics and performance.

Weighing 2.26 tonnes, Ferrari Luce measures 5026 mm in length, 1999 mm in width (without mirrors) and 1544 mm in height, with a wheelbase 2961 mm. By comparison, the crossover Ferrari Purosangue is 4,973 mm long with a 3,018 mm wheelbase.

“This model is the result of more than 60 of our new patents and lies at the heart of an ecosystem of collaborations with outstanding technology partners,” said Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari.
“We have created a car that combines unique driving emotions with extraordinary performance, driving pleasure, and comfort for the Ferraristi of today and tomorrow”.
Boasting a rear-hinged doors, Luce rides on 23-inch wheels in the front and 24-inch wheels at the rear – the largest staggered wheel diameters on a series-production Ferrari road car.

Unlike the exterior, the Luce sets a new benchmark in the luxury EV interior, opting for precision-engineered mechanical buttons, dials, toggles and switches with multifunctional digital displays developed with Samsung Display.
The Prancing Horse’s first electric Ferrari is powered by four (4) electric engines 4 (one per wheel), with the quad-motor setup producing 1,035 horsepower (772kW) with a massive 990Nm of torque.

Its powertrain deliver best‑in‑class performance, allowing the Luce to reach 60 (100 km/h) from rest in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of over 193mph (310 km/h). Based on an 800-volt architecture, the Ferrari Luce is equipped with a 122 kWh battery-pack, which allows up to 530 km (329 miles) per charge.
Ferrari is yet to announce pricing for the new 2027 Luce EV, but several medias quote a price of €550,000 ($640,000) for the marque’s first-ever five-seater model, with deliveries due to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
