All-new Electric Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé Boasts Realistic V8 Sound, Available In GT 55, GT 63 Models

German automaker, Mercedes-Benz, has finally taken the wraps off the all-new, electric 2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, which is packed with technology borrowed from the record-breaking CONCEPT AMG GT XX.
Based on the high-performance AMG.EA architecture, the electric sports car is available in the GT 55 and top-spec GT 63 model. Pricing will be based on comparable predecessor vehicles, according to the brand. The last-Gen AMG GT 63 e-Performance petrol V8 was £178,705.

Like its concept, the new Mercedes‑AMG GT 4‑Door Coupé utilises three axial-flux electric motors, two on the rear axle, one at the front – which churns out a combined system output of up to 860 kW (1,169 hp) and 1475 pound-feet of torque in the GT63.
The impressive powertrain allows the sports car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) in just 2.1 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in only 6.4 seconds and a top speed is 300 km/h (186 mph) with optional Driver’s Package.

Thanks to a charging capacity of 600 kW, its advanced 106-kWh, 800-volt high-performance battery can be charged from 10 to 80% State in only 11 minutes while over 460 kilometres of range can be recharged in just 10 minutes.
Inside, the driver-focused cockpit consists of three displays merged into one – a 10.2-inch instrument cluster, a 14.0-inch multimedia monitor angled towards the driver, and an optional 14.0-inch passenger display with its own content.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé boasts seven (7) AMG Dynamic Select drive modes — Eco, Comfort, Sport, RACE, Slippery, Individual as well as AMG Force Sport+, the latter, which delivers the classic AMG V8 sound (inside and out) through gearshift changes.
“I’ve driven the new AMG GT 4-Door Coupé myself many times – and it genuinely stands out. It pushes performance to new limits and delivers the emotion our fans expect – now in the electric era,” said Ola Källenius, Mercedes‑Benz Group CEO.
