Mercedes-Benz Guard – the safest and most luxurious Mercedes cars since 1928.

For more than ninety-years, governments, crowned heads and Dictators have placed their confidence in special protection vehicles from Mercedes-Benz.





The first armoured vehicles from Mercedes was the Pullman Saloon in 1928 and two armoured Model 770 “Grand Mercedes” Pullman Saloons.

These armoured cars were specially built to protect Japanese Emperor and members of his court in 1930. He was only one of the tenths of presidents, crowned heads and world-famous stars that owned a bulletproof Benz.

The current Mercedes-Benz Guard models provide maximum protection up to Class VR10. They include the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Guard, Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Pullman Guard and the Mercedes-Benz S 600 Guard.





The Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guard made its debut in 2014. It is the world’s first vehicle fully certified for Class VR9 ballistic protection.

The Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guard starts at $1.56m. It is the most expensive Guard model you can buy with the three-pointed star.

The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Guard arrived in 2015. It has the highest VR10 ballistic protection class currently available for civilian vehicles. It is 7.9 inches longer and comes with Executive rear seats as standard.

The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Pullman Guard arrived in 2018. It is 41.5 inches longer than the “standard” Maybach S650 and nearly 4 inches taller.

S650 Pullman Guard is the world’s only long-wheelbase state limousine with armour protection ex factory and Class VR9 ballistic protection.

Famous World leaders who boasts a model of Mercedes Guard includes North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. Russia’s Vladimir Putin has one before ditching it for the Russian-made Aurus Senat aka Bunker-On-Wheels. Others includes President’s of India, Azerbaijan and Philippines.
