Mercedes GLB’s Interior Teased Ahead Of Official Debut At The Shanghai Motor Show
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the interior of its upcoming GLB SUV. The concept version ,that will be revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show in few weeks time, will be close to production specs, with the finished car making its public debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
The GLB sits above the GLA and below the larger GLC.It is designed rival to cars such as the BMW X1, Audi Q3, Volvo XC40 and Jaguar E-Pace.
The small SUV takes inspiration from the latest A-Class, with a large combined digital instrument and infotainment display above AMG GT-style air vents.
Using the same 2.0-litre mild hybrid petrol engine found in the new A35 hot hatch, the GLB is expected to produce around 302 Horsepower. It will be joined by a range-topping GLB 45 after launch.
The GLB SUV is part of a future eight-strong family of compact models announced by the German automaker at the 2018 Detroit motor show. Its likely starting price will be around £32,000.
