Mercedes-Benz Reveals The New Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 Coupe

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the new 2020 Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 coupe . It is the third of Mercedes-Benz’s latest generation of compact models to receive the AMG treatment, following the A35 4Matic hatchback and the A35 4Matic Saloon.
It is designed to compete against the 2020 BMW M230i Gran Coupé and the Audi S3 Saloon. Mercedes-AMG CEO ,Tobias Moers, said :
“The CLA 35 4Matic is an attractive offer for a young, active lifestyle target group”
“These customers define their requirements very clearly: they expect exciting design alongside superior performance and inspiring handling”

Inside the four-door coupe features the Mercedes’ new voice-control system or Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) digital assistant and a dual 10.25-inch screens for instruments and infotainment.
Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which sends power to all four wheels via an AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

Mercedes claims that the CLA 35 will move from zero to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, which is 0.1 second faster than the A 35. It has an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.
Mercedes-Benz will make the public unveiling of the CLA 35 at the New York motor show. It will most likely arrive late this year or early 2020, priced about $90,000.
