Military-inspired M-Hero 917 Electric SUV produced by Lagos-based SAGLEV starts at N200 million.

M-Hero 917 is offered in two trims – the Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) and the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV).

EREV variant is priced from N200m (N200,201,841) while the BEV variant starts at N214m (N214,429,383).

Lagos-based SAGLEV Electromobility Company Limited has announced pricing for the 2026 M-Hero 917 5-seater electric SUV – the latest addition to the indigenous car brand’s lineup of Nigeria-made electric vehicles (EVs).

The M-Hero 917 will be offered in two trims, starting with the Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) priced from N200 Million (N200,201,841) while the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) starts at over N214 million (N214,429,383).

Per the brochure on SAGLEV’s website seen by Autojosh, the BEV is equipped four electric motors and a battery-pack that allows a maximum range up to 450 km (280 miles) per charge. DC Fast Charging allows 30–80% in under 47 minutes.

The EREV (Hybrid Model) has an 194-hp 1.5L inline-four turbocharged petrol engine as a generator, which powers three motors and churns out 804-horsepower. It boasts a total range of 750 km (466 miles).

Safety and driver aids includes 360° Camera with Blind Spot and Cross-Traffic Alerts, Auto Emergency Braking + Forward Collision Warning, Lane Assist + Lane Departure Warning, All-Speed Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic Sign Recognition + Highway Assist.

SAGLEV says that the M-Hero 917 comes with a optional “Drone Package”, which includes an actual drone that can be voice-controlled from inside the Military-Inspired SUV – though the price of this package wasn’t stated.

At the unveiling ceremony held at the Alliance Française in Ikoyi, Lagos on July 16th 2025, SAGLEV announced that the M-Hero 917 SUV, like its other lineup of Nigeria-made vehicles, will be locally assembled at its plant in Lagos, Nigeria.
