NADDC, led by Director General Osanipin, auto key stakeholders pays courtesy visit to Dangote Sinotruk West Africa Limited.

Dangote Sinotruk is a Joint Venture, with Dangote Industries owning 65% of the equity while Sinotruck of China owns 35%.

Last year, the company said it has a capacity to assemble and produce 16 to 18 trucks per day or 10,000 trucks annually.

It produces wide range of commercial vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks, medium trucks, light trucks, and other semi-trailers.





The officials of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), led by Director General Mr Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, has paid a courtesy visit to Dangote Sinotruk West Africa Limited.

Also part of the visit were automobile key stakeholders, who joined in talking facility tour of the Dangote Sinotruk West Africa assembly plant located at Plot 3 Oba Akran Ikeja, Lagos State.

Dangote Sinotruk West Africa is a Joint Venture with a total investment of $100 million, with Dangote Industries Limited owning 65 percent of the equity while Sinotruck of China owns 35 percent.





The company was established to produce wide range of commercial vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks, medium trucks, light trucks, and other semi-trailers.

Last year, the company said it has a capacity to assemble and produce 16 to 18 trucks per day or 10,000 trucks annually, according to Mr. Dolapo Alli, the Regional Sales Director, Lagos/Ogun, Dangote Cement Plc.

“It has the capacity to produce 10,000 trucks annually and is creating thousands of jobs both direct and indirect,” Alli said during the 2023 edition of 13th Gateway International Trade Fair in Abeokuta.

“The company aims to meet the expected increased demand of segments like logistics, constructions, food and beverage industries as the government focuses on boosting the economic development across the country,” Alli said.
