Nissan Qashqai Goes Dark As Black Edition Model Is Launched
The Nissan Qashqai joins an almost endless row of cars of which a ‘Black Edition’ exists. A touch of emotion with a rational choice, describe it.
We can imagine that someone in the marketing department of Fiat already looked very angry when a Black Edition was presented. After all, that brand is fully committed to color on its cars. At Nissan, they would be safe, because they are now preparing a Black Edition for the Qashqai. To be precise the Qashqai E-Power, the version with the special electric powertrain receives constant power from a combustion engine.
“With the Black Edition, we give the Qashqai e-Power an extra distinctive look and add a touch of emotion to a rational choice.” Right, what does that mean in concrete terms? Well, the Black Edition brings some external extras to start with. There are the black 18-inch alloy wheels and it is always painted in two different colors; Pearl White or Ceramic Gray with a black roof, or Black Metallic with a gray roof. It also has door sills with the model name illuminated on it. It does not stop at appearances, because Nissan grabs the entry-level N-Connecta and gives it a panoramic glass roof with electric operable blinds, roof rails, a 12.3-inch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a wireless smartphone charger.
