NURTW Directs Members Across 36 States To Get Their PVCs Ahead Of The 2023 Election
NURTW directs all members across 36 states and FCT to get their PVCs ahead of the upcoming 2023 general election.
NURTW boss directs all state chairmen to ensure that all union members in their state carry out the directive.
Union says it plays a vital role in the nation’s electoral process being in partnership with INEC.

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has directed members in the 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to get their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2023 general election.
The union in a statement titled, GET YOUR PVC, signed by its president, Alhaji Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa, directed all state chairmen to ensure union members in their respective States to get their PVCs to enable them to exercise their franchise in the coming 2023 general elections.
The statement read in part :
“All the state councils are directed to ensure that members of the union, their families and friends across the 36 states, all the 774 local government councils, take advantage of the continuous voters’ registration (CVRs) extension exercise to get their permanent voters cards.
“It will enable them to vote for candidates of their choice in the coming elections.”
“the union plays a vital role in the nation’s electoral process being in partnership with Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
“It is, therefore, imperative that union members participate actively and effectively in electing credible leaders that will determine the fate of teeming members of the union and the entire nation.”
