Innoson G80 SUV steals the show as Nigerian Army Garrison Commander visits FCT Police Command. 

Major General J.R. Lar, the Commander of the Army Headquarters Garrison, recently paid a courtesy visit to the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, as part of efforts to boost inter-agency security cooperation.

A video shared on the FCT Command’s X handle captures the moment General Lar arrived at the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Abuja, in a convoy led by his official vehicle, the Innoson G80 luxury SUV.

During the visit, the Commander acknowledged the existing synergy between the FCT Police Command and the Army Garrison. He solicited continued cooperation in intelligence sharing, joint operations, and the promotion of camaraderie among personnel of both formations.

Responding, the Commissioner of Police assured the Commander of the Command’s full support and cooperation toward sustaining the security of the Federal Capital Territory.

Innoson G80 SUV

For Autojosh, Lar’s Innoson IVM G80 commanded attention at the August 13th inter-agency meeting. The model has continued to be the preferred official vehicle for several top military officers since Innoson and the Nigerian Army signed an agreement over five years ago.

Regularly spotted in official convoys used by Nigerian Army Generals, Innoson’s flagship SUV—which starts at ₦60 million for the unarmored model—serves as a rugged, heavily built alternative to foreign luxury SUVs like the Toyota Land Cruiser 300.

It will be recalled that the Nigerian Army and Innoson Motors signed a partnership agreement to manufacture locally made military equipment and vehicles, as part of a drive to support indigenous brands.
