PCNGi, AMAC Partner On CNG Tricycle Pilot Program To Empower Abuja Youths

PCNGi, in partnership with AMAC and NATOMORAS, hands over two (2) CNG-powered tricycles to youths in the FCT.

Says initiative demonstrates its commitment to delivering affordable, eco-friendly transportation alternatives.

PCNGi adds that this pilot initiative represents a strategic step in Nigeria’s clean energy transition.

The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi) has handed over two (2) CNG-powered tricycles to the National Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (NATOMORAS) to empower youths in the FCT.

In a statement on its official X page on Monday, PCNGi said that this initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), is part of a CNG-powered tricycle pilot program aimed at accelerating Nigeria’s clean energy transition.

PCNGi said that collaboration with AMAC and NATOMORAS demonstrates its commitment to delivering affordable, eco-friendly transportation alternatives while creating economic opportunities for Nigerian youth.

“Today, our team at the Presidential CNG Initiative officially handed over two CNG-powered tricycles to NATOMORAS Transport Services as part of its youth empowerment program through sustainable transport solutions.”
