Pelumi Nubi donates the Peugeot 107 she drove from London to Lagos to Lagos State-owned John Randle Centre.
She has since replaced her Peugeot 107 hatchback with a brand new GAC-branded SUV she got from Governor Sanwo-Olu.
In addition, LASG also gave her an apartment, took over her entire bill for the trip and made her Lagos Tourism Ambassador.
London-Lagos solo car driver, Ms. Pelumi Nubi, has donated the Peugeot 107 Hatchback she drove from London to Lagos to Lagos State-owned John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History located at Onikan Lagos.
The monumental gift to Lagos State was made known by Jubril Gawat, a Senior Special Assistant on News Media to the Governor, in a tweet posted to his X handle on Monday, 8th April 2024.
He wrote :
“Welcome Pelumi Nubi @peluminubi_, Our Brand New Lagos Ambassador, She gets a brand New car from Governor @jidesanwoolu, A new home in Lagos, A customized plate number and one more thing.
“She is donating her vehicle (the one she used for the trip) to our Brand New J Randle Center for Yoruba Culture and History as monumental gift to Lagos State.”
Pelumi Nubi has since replaced her Peugeot 107 Hatchback with a brand new GAC-branded SUV, which was presented to her when she met Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the at the Government House, Marina, on Monday (today).
In addition, the State Government also gave the 28-year-old travel content creator an apartment in Lagos, took over her entire bill for the trip and made her Lagos Tourism Ambassador.
