Photo Story : Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu inaugurates the first phase of the Blue Line Rail. 

The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday, 21 December 2022 took part in the commemoration marking the completion of the First Phase of Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line (Marina – Mile 2), at the National Theatre Blue line station, Iganmu.

The first phase of the 27-kilometre long Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line stretches 13-kilometres from Marina to Mile 2 area of the state, covering five Stations at Mile 2, Suru-Alaba, Orile Iganmu, National Theatre and Marina.

In attendance at ceremony is the Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, the incumbent Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, and the Managing Director, Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA), Engr. Abimbola Akinajo.
