Proforce Partners With Kia, To Get Drivelines To Make Made-in-Nigeria Armored Vehicles - autojosh

Proforce, Nigeria’s Armored Vehicle Company, and Kia sign a Memorandum of Understanding at World Defence Show 2024.

With the partnership, Kia will supply Proforce with drivelines for the production of military vehicles in Nigeria.

Agreement to strengthen the competencies of Proforce, whose product already includes APCs, MRAPs, CITs and armored civilian vehicles.

The Ogun State-based company has had orders from the Nigerian Government, the United Nations, Chad and Belarus.

PROFORCE Limited, a Nigerian-based armored vehicle specialist, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kia Corp. at the World Defense Show 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

With the partnership, Kia Corp, a global leader in the manufacturing of military vehicle chassis, will supply Proforce with drivelines for the production of military vehicles in Nigeria.

“Proforce has signed an MOU with KIA to supply Proforce with drivelines,” the Ogun State-based armored vehicle manufacturer said in a statement.

“This proves our commitment to quality and performance as this will ensure our armoured vehicles are top class. We are breaking new grounds to ensure that our products and services are unmatched in quality.”

The agreement will strengthen the competencies of Proforce, whose product already includes Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs), Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles (MRAPs), Armored Cash-In-Transit Vehicles (CITs) and armored civilian vehicles.

The company has had orders from the Nigerian Government, the United Nations, Chad and Belarus — its latest client. Its vision is to be “a leading Armouring and Defence products provider in the world”.
