Raccoons Mistook Tesla Cybertruck For Garbage Cans, Rips The Bed Cover With Their Sharp Teeth

Raccoons mistook Tesla Cybertruck EV for garbage cans, rips the bed cover with their sharp teeth.
Pictures shared showed the damages done to the bed (vault) cover while likely searching for something to eat.
This incident joins the growing list of unexpected issues faced by the Cybertruck, including a pause in delivery.
Earlier this year, Tesla paused the delivery of Cybertruck after a new owner claimed his accelerator pedal got stuck while driving.
The futuristic design of the $100,000+ Tesla Cybertruck may have been mistaken for a garbage can, according to a owner, whose all-electric truck was damaged by raccoons during a camping trip in Minnesota, in United States.
As shared on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum by user Spidog, raccoons (or possibly just one) used their sharp teeth to cause a damage to the bed (vault) cover while likely searching for something to eat.
The caption on the post reads: “Raccoons tried to enter vault overnight while camping in Minnesota!”

As expected, the posts stirred a mix of reactions from the forum members with one user asking “Wowzers. I guess the vault is raccoon proof! Hopefully that trim piece isn’t too expensive to replace.”
Another user joked about the design of the Tesla Cybertruck, saying : “Other trucks get around this problem by not looking like a dumpster.”
A third user said : “Elon: CYBERTRUCK is bullet proof, semi water proof, su– *audience: ahem Elon, what about raccoons?* Elon: um…er…well”
