Elon Musk pleased after Dubai Police announced the addition of Tesla Cybertruck EV to its tourist patrol fleet.
Like all the cars in its fleet, the Cybertruck is dressed in the department’s striking Green and White livery.
$100k Cybertruck will help enhance the security presence of Dubai police officers across essential tourist destinations.
American billionaire and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, has reacted to the news that an all-electric Tesla Cybertruck has joined the Dubai Police General Command’s tourist police luxury patrol fleet.
While sharing the news on its X handle (formerly known as Twitter) on Sunday June 16th, the Dubai Police wrote :
“The Dubai Police General Command has added the Tesla Cybertruck, the modern electric car with a futuristic design, to its tourist police luxury patrol fleet.”
According to the department, the Cybertruck, dressed in the department’s striking Green and White livery, will help enhance the security presence of police officers across essential tourist destinations.
Reacting to the tweet, Elon Musk wrote : “Cool ?”
Since then, many X users have reacted positively to the news.
A user opined that :
“Crime would drop in the U.S. if every police department had a Cybertruck ?”

The first examples of Tesla Cybertruck was finally delivered to early reservation holders at the Cyber Rodeo event in Austin, Texas in December, nearly four years after the brand’s first pickup truck was initially revealed to the world.
According to Tesla, the Cybertruck will be available in 3 trims, with the cheapest, the rear-wheel-drive model starting at $60,990. The all-wheel-drive model starts at $79,990, while the performance “Cyberbeast” tri-motor version goes for $99,990.
