A research by Money revealed that the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is the most desired luxury car in Nigeria.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the most sought-after in Ghana and South Africa.
The fact that only a meagre 1% of Nigerians can afford a six-figure Rolls-Royce Phantom hasn’t stopped the ultra-luxury sedan from being the most lusted after luxury car in the country.
According to a research by outlet, Money, the bespoke Phantom is the most wanted luxury car in Nigeria. This means that the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is more desired in Nigeria than cars from brands like Bentley, Mercedes-Benz and Range Rover.
Available in short-wheel-base and extended versions, the uber-luxurious ride is a favorite amongst captains of industry, businesses tycoons and Rolls-Royce collectors.
While the standard Phantom starts at around $450,000, this price could rise above the half a million dollar mark when personalization options are added to it.
But Nigeria isn’t the only African country that the Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 is the most sought-after car of choice. The bespoke sedan also top the list in Niger and Mozambique.
Unlike the Phantom, Rolls-Royce first-ever SUV is the most desired luxury car in Ghana and South Africa. Bentley’s first SUV, the Bentayga, is favored in Gabon and Kenya.
BMW flagship SUV X7 is the most desired in Benin, Botswana, Cameroun, Cape Verde and Mauritius. Mali, Zambia and Zimbabwe prefers the Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan more.
